We believe that providing top-notch service is always incorporated with sustainable processes and being mindful of the future.
At Savoy Hotel Manila, we always seek ways to reduce our operational greenhouse gas emissions, care for and protect the environment, and give back to the communities that we are part of.
We are proud to be one of the signatories of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action.
The Glasgow Declaration Climate Action in Tourism was launched on November 04, 2021 that recognizes the urgent need for a globally consistent plan for climate action in tourism.
The declaration commits to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 and achieve Net Zero by 2050 at the latest.
As one of the official signatories, we are now committed to providing a concrete climate action plan annually, as our take on achieving Net Zero.
We have created our own Sustainability Program with 4 pillars that will anchor all our sustainable initiatives.
Our We Save Sustainability Program is committed to the implementation of proactive measures to help protect and sustain the environment.
To even distinguish our Sustainability Program, it has 4 pillars that will support the direction of the hotel towards sustainability.
Conserve To Serve – Minimize our carbon footprint and other negative impact on our environment through execution of green and sustainable practices.
Community To Shape – Be responsible citizens that advocate civic unity through outreach programs that focus on proper nutrition, clean surroundings, and good education.
Customer Care – Deliver innovative, well thought-out, and memorable services that make us the choice hotel for travelers.
Created For All – Strengthen diversity, equality, and the culture of care to better support our employees in their career growth and overall wellbeing.
With this program, we aim to demonstrate and be an example to succeed as a business in as natural and environmentally conscious way possible to make a clear and measurable gain in the sustainable tourism of the Philippines and for future generations to come.
